Welcome to the 2026 Lakeside Men’s League. We want to thank you for participating in our previous seasons and look forward to having another great season!
We are continuing to get additional sponsors to supplement the league. League dues will be the same ($30) if paid by cash ($33) If paid online with card this year. The weekly play is ($10), optional skins ($2) optional Powerball ($2) All winnings are paid in pro-shop credits and must be redeemed by November 20th, 2026. ALL SPECIAL ORDERS WITH CREDITS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY OCTOBER 22nd, 2026.
Due to the difficulty of securing tee times for Men’s League on Wednesdays - and the high number of players who want to participate but have been unable to book a time—we will now be offering standing tee times for the 2026 season starting at 10:00 on Wednesdays. THIS IS OPTIONAL, YOU CAN CALL IN EVERY WEEK LIKE BEFORE.
The cost to purchase a standing tee time is a one-time fee of $50.00 per individual per nine holes. This will reserve your set tee time for the entire 2026 season.
To ensure fairness and availability for all members, the following policy will apply:

It is each individual’s responsibility to provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you will not be using your group or individual standing tee time. This allows us to make the time available to other groups and or players.

If 48-hour notice is not given:

First occurrence: A warning will be issued.

Second occurrence: Suspension of the standing tee time.

Third occurrence: The individual or group will forfeit and be removed from the standing tee time permanently.

The process to purchase standing tee times will open on March 7th and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

TO ENCOURAGE GROWTH FOR OUR THURSDAY LEAGUE PLAY – ALL PLAYERS THAT PLAY THURSDAY WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED INTO A SEPERATE EVENT – A 2-MAN BLIND DRAW BEST BALL COMPETITION. THIS WILL BE DONE AT NO EXTRA COST OR EXPENSE TO YOU. OUR SPONSORS HAVE DONATED FUNDS TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE SO ESSENTIALLY FREE MONEY FOR THE WINNERS EVERY WEEK. TEAMS WILL BE DRAWN BLINDLY WHEN RESULTS ARE DONE EVERY WEEK AND PAYOUT/SPOTS WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS EACH WEEK.
2026 MATCH PLAY

Individual Match Play: $40 Entry Fee. Entry fee must be paid in order to sign up. No exceptions
WE WILL BEGIN THE MATCH PLAY SEASON BY APRIL 1st or if full we will begin sooner.
Play in matches completed by April 26th
Round 1 matches completed by May 31st
Round 2 matches completed by June 30th
Round 3 matches completed by August 2nd
Championship Match completed by August 23rd
Lakeside Men’s League is excited to be doing our Match Play event again this year. All registered players will be put into a flighted match play bracket and then seeded by random draw. Brackets will be posted in the clubhouse and on the website. It is the player’s responsibility to schedule matches with their opponent, and pay applicable greens fees when they play. Matches for each round must be decided by the posted deadline. Individual matches will be at 80% handicap, using the most current USGA revision. The higher handicap player will receive the difference in strokes between on the hardest holes.
1.) Matches are to be played from the BLUE TEES. If one player in the match is older than 65, you have the option to have both Players play from the WHITE TEES. These arrangements must be agreed upon by both parties, but if an agreement can't
2.) Handicaps will be given, but only 80% of the handicap. All plus handicap players will play at 80% as well this year. (Example: Player A is a -2 and Player B is 10. (-2 x .8 = -1.6 rounds to -2 10x.8 = 8 strokes which is a difference of 10.) Player B would then get 1 stroke on the 10 hardest holes on the course)
3.) Matches are to be played over 18-holes, unless for reasons of time and scheduling players agree to a lesser number of holes, or another method of deciding the match.
4. ALL PLAYERS MUST RIDE TOGETHER. NO EXTRA CARTS. This is designed to be as much of a social event as a competitive one. Get to know your competitor!
5.) Matches must be decided by the posted deadline, or BOTH PLAYERS are disqualified.
6.) In the event of a tied match after 18 holes, play will continue beginning on original starting hole until match is decided. Any strokes received by players will apply to the same holes as in the 18 hole match.
